LA MIRADA, Calif. — Montana Tech quickly bounced back from their first loss Friday with a 3-0 win over Northwestern College at the Biola Summer Slam.

The win sends the Orediggers home from the season-opening season with a 3-1 record.

Newcomer Nicole Peacock tallied 12 kills and collected eight digs to lead the Orediggers in the 25-16, 25-19, 25-20 victory. Stats

Bailie Cortner joined Peacock in double digits in kill with 10, while Jordan Danz had a big match with eight kills and 11 digs. Katie Wiley also killed eight.

Makenzie Bauck dished up 33 assists.

The Orediggers are back in action next weekend when they host a 14-team tournament at the Butte Civic Center.
