Orediggers move up to No. 12, Dawgs at No. 17

Montana Tech moved up one spot to No. 12 in the NAIA coaches’ Top 25 poll, which was released today. Montana Western jumped five spots to No. 17.

The Oredigger upgrade comes after Tech got two defensive touchdowns and two special teams TDs in a 40-0 home win against winless MSU-Northern.

Western makes a jump after going on the road to beat the Eastern Oregon 30-23.

Carroll College fell seven spots to No. 18 after falling 28-27 in overtime to Southern Oregon, which remained at No. 2.

Lindsey Wilson retains the No. 1 spot, and the entire top 10 is unchanged from last week.

This week, the Orediggers hit the road to take on Carroll College in Helena, while Montana Western will be at home to battle Rocky Mountain College.
