Orediggers head to Indiana for quarterfinals

Montana Tech will be heading to Fort Wayne, Indiana, for the quarterfinals of the NAIA playoffs.

The No. 5 Orediggers will take on No. 4 Saint Francis on Saturday. The second-round pairings were announced this morning.

The game will kick off at noon Eastern Time.

The Cougars (10-0) beat Reinhardt (Georgia) 37-26 in Saturday’s first-round game. Saint Francis is the champion of the Mid-States Football Association.

The Frontier Conference champion Orediggers (10-1) advanced to the quarterfinals by beating Dickinson State 44-10 on Saturday.

Southern Oregon (9-2), the other Frontier Conference team in the playoffs, will head to Baker (Kansas). The Raiders beat Kansas Wesleyan 52-8 in Saturday’s first-round game in Ashland, Oregon.
