Montana Tech’s volleyball team is 6-1 on the season after sweeping Hope International Friday night to cap the second day of the Big Sky Volley Challenge at the HPER Complex.
Jordan Danz registered 10 of Tech’s 33 kills in the lopsided 25-13, 25-12, 25-18 victory that lifted the Orediggers to 3-0 at the tournament.
Bailie Cortner added eight kills, while Sydney Norris and Katie Wiley each put the ball away five times.
Makenzie Bauck served up 29 assists in the win. The Orediggers also served seven aces, three from Angie Pancost. Bauck served two aces.
The Orediggers close out the tournament with two matches on Saturday.
Tech plays the College of Idaho at 11 a.m. The Orediggers close out the tournament with a 7 p.m. match against The Master’s College.
