FULLERTON, Calif. — The Montana Tech volleyball team is heading home from the Hope International Tournament with a 3-1 record.
The Orediggers went 1-1 on the final day of the tournament, sweeping Trinity Christian College (Illinois) before falling in three sets to host Hope International.
Nicole Peacock’s 11 kills paced the Orediggers in the 25-22, 25-18, 25-19 win over Trinity. (Stats) Masha Korol tallied 11 kills, while Kamaile Moody (16) and Tori Chelini (15) combined for 31 of Tech’s 41 assists.
Hannah Liss served seven aces, while Gena McMillan collected 13 digs.
Korol’s nine kills led Tech’s offensive in the 25-21, 25-21, 25-13 to Hope. (Stats) Moody served 10 aces, and Sabrina Hopcroft dug up 16 digs.
The Orediggers will host the Big Sky Volleyball Challenge next Friday and Saturday at the Butte Civic Center.
