Montana Tech’s Hunter Spartz will get a chance to play in the National Football League.
After going undrafted Saturday, Spartz was invited to attend mini camp with the New England Patriots. Tech coach Kyle Samson announced that on Twitter Saturday night.
The 6-foot-3, 305-pound Spartz is a native of Green River, Wyoming and a petroleum engineering student. He could have played again in 2022 for the Orediggers, but elected to graduate instead.
Spartz earned first-team all-conference honors while playing left tackle for the Orediggers.
According to SI.com, the Patriots rookie minicamp will be held My 6-9 or May 13-16.
