Lewis-Clark State’s men’s basketball team beat Rocky Mountain College 72-68 Saturday night in Lewiston, Idaho, meaning the Montana Tech men are still clinging to playoff hopes heading into the last weekend of the regular season.
The Orediggers are 6-8 in Frontier Conference play and sit in seventh place. Rocky is in sixth at 7-7, but the Bears hold the tiebreaking advantage. The Orediggers must win at Montana Western and Westminster College next weekend. Tech also needs Rocky to lose to MSU-Northern and Great Falls at home.
A loss by the Orediggers or a win by the Bears means Tech won’t be playing in the postseason.
For now, though, Tech still has a shot.
