Dylan Pannabecker and the Montana Tech men’s basketball team had a nice bounce-back performance Friday night.
One night after a disappointing loss to Warner Pacific University, the Orediggers knocked off Dickinson State 91-81 at the HPER Complex. (Stats)
The game was part of the PayneWest Tip Off Classic.
Pannabecker, who didn’t score a point Thursday, tossed in 26 points to lead the Orediggers (3-1). He hit 13 of 16 foul shots in the win.
Taylor England added 10 points and seven rebounds for Tech, which got 10 points off the bench from Carson Dummer.
Also, Derrius Collings scored eight, Nick Fitts and Christian Jones each scored seven, Drew Huse netted six, and Blake Dittman and Troy Owens Jr. scored three. Gavin McPherson also contributed for the Orediggers, who led 50-30 at the half.
Kenny Jackson’s 21 points paced the Blue Hawks. Malcohm Hill added 12 points, and Austin Payne tossed in 10.
The Orediggers are back in action next Thursday when they head to Pablo to take on the Northwest Indian College.
