Oredigger men fall on the road

BILLINGS — Rocky Mountain College’s men’s basketball team hit on nearly 50 percent of its shots Friday night as the Battlin’ Bears Beat Montana Tech 78-52 in a Frontier Conference game.

The Orediggers, who shot 2 for 14 from behind the 3-point line, lost for the first time in three games. Tech fell to 11-8 overall and 2-3 in Frontier Conference play. Rocky improved to 11-7 and 2-2.

Joel Brandt scored 15 points to lead four Bears in double figures in the win. Jeremy Nicolas tossed in 14.

Adam Greger was the lone Oredigger in double figures. He scored 14 points. Tanner Neumann, Brandon Rydberg and Daniel Simon each scored eight points.

The Orediggers hit the road again next week to play MSU-Northern and the University of Great Falls.
