KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Three Montana Tech golfers were named Daktronic-NAIA Golf Scholar Athletes, the school announced today.
Two golfers from the Tech women’s team and one from the men’s team earned the prestigious honor.
Senior Taryn Campbell and juniors Hailey Ogolin and James Amundson were selected for the national honor. Campbell is receiving the awards for the second time and Ogolin and Amundson are making their first appearance on the list.
Ogolin is a Butte High graduate.
In order to be nominated by an institution, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended two full years as a non-transfer or one full year as a transfer.
