KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) released the latest 2023 NAIA Football FirstDown Playbook Coaches Top 25 Rating on Monday. The Orediggers of Montana Tech stayed strong at No. 22 in the country.
Montana Tech (6-3, 5-2 conf.) shut out MSU-Northern on the road 28-0 this past weekend but was unable to gain any ground in the national poll. However, there was significant movement by other Frontier Conference schools.
The College of Idaho moved up from No. 7 to 5, Montana Western after beating Carroll in Helena moved from No. 13 to 10, and Carroll fell from No. 12 to 16.
The top team in the country continues to be Northwestern (Iowa), who received all 18 first-place votes. Grand View (Iowa) stays at number two, and Indiana Wesleyan remains in third.

The Orediggers will wrap up the regular season this Saturday in Helena, as they take on the Saints of Carroll College. Kickoff is scheduled for 12 pm.
