BILLINGS — Bryan Bock had another big game Friday night.
The Montana Tech senior guard scored 25 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead the Orediggers against Rocky Mountain College. It wasn’t nearly enough, however, as the No. 11-ranked Battlin’ Bears handed Tech a 101-86 Frontier Conference loss. Stats
The defeat sends the Orediggers to 5-9 in the Frontier Conference and 13-13 overall. Tech is will likely need to beat Montana Western and Westminster College at home next week and then get some help in order to qualify for the Frontier men’s basketball playoffs.
Montana Tech coach Patrick O’Herron said he was happy with how his team competed in its second road game in as many nights.
“They are a top-20 team, and when you let them dictate tempo they are tough to beat,” the coach said of the Bears.

Malachi Robers scored 16, while Matt Strickland scored 14, Sian Lane tossed in 12, Tyree Anderson scored 11 and Joel Barndt tossed in 10.
