Nine Dog mat men ranked

Nine Butte High wrestlers are ranked in the top six of their weight class in the latest rankings, where were released this afternoon.

The Bulldogs still hold the No. 5 spot in team rankings. Billings West took over the No. 1 spot. The Golden Bears are followed by Kalispell Flathead, Great Falls High and Billings Senior. Belgrade is ranked No. 6.

Trey Whitlock, at 103 pounds, and Keagan Gransbery, at 126, are ranked No. 2 in their weight class. Heavyweight Zach Tierney is ranked No. 3, and 132-pounder Kip Pumnea is No. 4.

Also, Maverick McEwen (113), Kyler Rahia (120), Connor Konda (138) and Mason Christian (182) are ranked No. 5, and Anthony Liva (152) is ranked No. 6.

Undefeated Raiha fell three spots despite two wins since the last rankings. McEwen, Liva and Christian were unranked last week. Eight Bulldogs were ranked a week ago.

All the rankings, compiled by former wrestling coach and principal Ken Stuker, are listed below.
