MISSOULA — Butte High graduate Lexie Nelson scored a game-high 14 points Friday afternoon to lead the Eastern Washington Eagles against the University of Montana in the semifinals of the Big Sky Conference women’s basketball tournament.

Kayleigh Valley, McCalle Feller and Kellie Rubel each scored 12 points to lead the Grizzlies.

Hayley Hodgins and Marly Anderson each scored 10 to lead the Eagles. Nelson hit two 3-pointers and was 4 for 4 from the free throw line. She also grabbed three rebounds, collected three steals and blocked a shot.
