BOZEMAN — The Butte Muckers fell 4-1 to the Gallatin Valley Posse Thursday at the Bozeman B tournament at Heroes Park.
Jonas Sherman poked the lone hit of the day for the Muckers. Trey Hansen and Sherman pitched well for the Butte club.
George Riojas, Derek Dunmire and Zach O’Connell played solid defense in the loss. Catcher Quinn Cox threw out two runners.
The Muckers will play the Billings Post 4 Blues at 1 p.m. on Friday. They play two games on Saturday, taking on the Gillette Renegades at 2 p.m. before battling the Rigby Trojans at 5:30.
Sunday’s play is to be determined.
