THREE FORKS — The Butte Muckers’ season came to an end with a 14-4 loss to the Gallatin Valley Outlaws Sunday afternoon.

The game, which was scheduled for nine innings, was called after seven by the 10-run rule. The young Butte team did not qualify for the district tournament, which starts Thursday in Dillon.

Kyler Elliot and Dalton Majors each poked three hits, and Michael Jones and Ryan Murphy each pitched four innings in the victory.

Scout Allen and Ryan Wahl doubled to lead the Muckers, who produced just three hits in the loss. Quinn Sullivan added a single, and Cameron Johnson joined Wahl with an RBI.
