THREE FORKS — The Butte Muckers won one and lost one Saturday as they continued the Gallatin Valley Posse tournament.
Butte rocked the Bitterroot Red Sox 14-2 before falling 8-2 to the Billings Blue. The Muckers are 1-3 on the tournament. They play the Posse at 3:15 p.m. Sunday.

The Miners scored nine times — nine times — in the top of the fourth inning to put this game away.
The contest was stopped by the 10-run rule after five innings.
Jacob Tauscher hit a double and a single, while Karsen McEwen and Mason Neegard each hit two singles to lead the Muckers. Garrett Sharp singled, drove in two runs and scored three times.
Derek Dunmire and Tocher Lee also singled in the win. Dunmire, Matt Donaldson, McEwen and Neegard each scored two times.
Lee pitched four innings for the win. Will Stepan got the last three outs.
Billings Blue 8, Butte Muckers 2 (Boxscore)
Billings took advantage of five Mucker errors to score five unearned runs in the victory.
Billy Benjamin and Caleb Hunter each hit two singles to lead the Blue offense. Kole Boyles struck out eight and walked seven in four innings to get the win. Jack Morgan pitched two innings to end the game.
Dunmire singled and drove in both Butte runs. Lucas Harris-Huerta also singled for Butte.
