BOZEMAN — Montana State’s women’s golf team is still on top of the leader board.
At 605 after two rounds, the Bobcats lead the University of Montana by four shots. Utah Valley is third at 612, followed by Southern Utah at 618 and North Dakota at 327.
Paige Crawford was again the top finisher for the Bobcats. Her score of 72 was the best of the day and put her overall at 145 (73-72) as she sits alone in first place.
Montana’s Olivia Weber and Southern Utah’s Sadie Palmer are two shots out of the lead.
MSU’s Molly Dorans sits in sixth place as she carded a second-round score of 75 to put her total at 153 (78-75). Kati Greear is tied for sevnth with 154 (76-78), while fellow Bobcats Lauren Hausauer (82-77) and Pamela Calderon (78-81) are tied for 20th with 159.
Playing individually, MSU’s Haylee Folkvord dropped to tied for 14th with a 156 (75-81). As, Bergen Buck is tied for 29th with 168 (85-83) and Melissa Hultstrand is 35th after carding 176 (91-85).
“Everyone knew the course a little better today and tomorrow will be the same,” Brittany Basye said. “We need to come out tomorrow with confidence and show that we know what we’re doing.”
The final day of the Bobcat Invitational is Saturday starting at 8 a.m. at Riverside Country Club.
