MSU Billings baseball bows out of GNAC tourney

NAMPA, Idaho — The MSU Billings baseball team is headed home from the GNAC Tournament.

After beating Western Oregon 10-2 Thursday at Elmore Vail Field, the Yellowjackets fell 4-3 to Northwest Nazarene on Thursday night.

MSUB lost out to Western Oregon, 18-1, on Friday.

Former Butte Miner Bryon Baker, who is less than a year removed from shoulder surgery, pitched the final two outs in Thursday’s win. He retired both batters he faced in his lone appearance of the tournament.

The Yellowjackets close the season at 30-18.
