Montana Western season ends in second round

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The season came to an end for the Montana Western men’s basketball team Friday night.

Top-seeded Hope International beat the Bulldogs 82-72 in the second round of the NAIA national tournament. Stats

Tanner Barnes and Matt Green each scored 16 points to lead Hope (30-2), which saw five players reach double figures in scoring.

Dexter Williams Jr., Shyke Smalls, Tim Lott and Connor Woodill each scored 13 points to lead the Bulldogs, who close the season at 23-10.
