Montana Tech will open the Frontier Conference women’s basketball tournament Tuesday night against Carroll College in Helena.
The Frontier Conference released the playoff parings tonight.
Carroll College (14-4 conference, 22-7 overall) locked down the No. 2 seed, while the Orediggers (3-15, 13-16) finished second. Carroll beat Tech three times in the regular season, including Thursday’s 63-52 decision in Butte.
Montana Western (15-3, 24-3) won the regular-season title and received a first round bye.
Other quarterfinal games see MSU-Northern play at Rocky Mountain College and the University of Providence travel to Lewis-Clark State College.
All playoff games tip off at 7 p.m. local time.
