The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the fifth NAIA Coaches’ Top 25 Poll of the 2022 season today. Montana Tech dropped to No. 25 in the latest national poll.

The Orediggers (4-2) were in Caldwell, Idaho last weekend facing then-No. 9 College of Idaho. The Yotes came from behind and stopped the Orediggers getting the upset on the Homecoming weekend with a final game winning drive 27-24.

The Orediggers were ranked No. 19 but the loss did not knock them out of the poll.

College of Idaho (6-0) moved up two spots in the poll to No. 7. Rocky Mountain (5-1) defeated Eastern Oregon last weekend and moved up two spots to No. 15 in the polls.

Morningside still holds the top spot in the Coaches’ Top 25.

Montana Tech is on a bye this week. The Orediggers are back in action on October 22nd at home for Hall of Fame Weekend.
