Montana Tech Football Goes to No. 24

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the sixth NAIA Football Coaches’ Top 25 Poll today. Montana Tech was off last week but was able to move up a spot to No. 24.

The Frontier Conference was off last week. The Orediggers (4-2) got a bump in the polls after than-No.20 Langston (Okla.) lost to than-No. 19 Texas Wesleyan 53-28 last weekend. Langston fell out of the top 25 and Texas Wesleyan is now No. 20 in the most recent poll.

Rocky Mountain (Mont.) also picked up one spot on the bye week. Than-No. 9 Bethel (Kan.) fell seven spots to No. 16 after losing to now No. 21 Avila (Mo.). Rocky is ranked No. 14 in this week’s poll.

College of Idaho stay at No. 7 in the poll.

The Orediggers return to action this weekend when they host Southern Oregon. The Raiders come to the Mining City Saturday with kickoff at 1 p.m.
