The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the third NAIA 2022 Football Coaches’ Top 25 Poll today. After receiving votes last week, the Montana Tech football team is back in the Coaches’ Top 25 at No. 21.
The Montana Tech Orediggers (3-1) defeated than-No. 17 Montana Western 33-24 in Dillon on Saturday. The victory was the first on the Bulldogs home turf since 2012 for the Orediggers.
After Western’s loss last weekend, the Bulldogs fell out of the top 25 and are now receiving votes. No. 11 College of Idaho kept their spot in this week’s poll. Rocky Mountain moved up from No. 25 to No. 20 this week after their shutout win over MSU Northern last weekend. Carroll College also entered the poll this week and are ranked No. 24.
Montana Tech host’s MSU Northern this Saturday for Homecoming. The game kicks off at 1 p.m. on Bob Green Field at Alumni Coliseum.
