Montana Tech Athletics summer features numerous sports camps for area youth. Sports camps start in early June and conclude at the end of July.
Each camp is led by Montana Tech coaches and student-athletes. Ages range from kindergarten up to high school. All camps are focused on developing fundamentals and skills particular to each sport.
While there are individual camps for both volleyball and women’s basketball, the 25th Annual Girls Sports Camp combines both sports into four full days on June 15-18. The Girls’ Basketball Camp is July 13-16 and feature two age groups, kindergarten through 4th grade in the mornings and 5th through 8th grade in the afternoons. For more information regarding the Girls Basketball Camp, contact head women’s basketball coach Carly Van Dyke at 496.4288.
The Volleyball Skills Camp is slated for July 27-30. The half-day camp is geared toward girls’ grades 3rd-12th. Contact volleyball coach Brian Solomon for more information.
Oredigger Men’s Basketball hosts two camps during the summer. The first camp is June8-11 for ages 10-14 and the second camp is June 22-25 for ages 5-9. Contact assistant men’s basketball coach Chris Cline at 496.4844 for more information.
Football has two overnight team camps as well as a day camp for younger football players. The Little Guy Football Champ Camp is July 6-8 for grades 1st-8th and is geared towards individuals enhancing their offense, defense and kicking game skills.
