Montana team finishes 18th at Jr. America’s Cup

WALLA WALLA, Wash. — Team Montana placed 18th at the Girls’ Junior America’s Cup at the Walla Walla Country Club. The tournament wrapped up Thursday on the 6,500-yard course.

Butte golfer Shealyn Hafer shot a final-round 86 for Team Montana. That followed an 88 and an 85 on the first day.

Also for Montana, Coral Schulz of Helena shot an 88. Teigan Avery of Kalispell and Hannah Zwemke each shot 92.

Team Mexico shot 6 under par on Thursday to overtake Southern California for the team title. Mexico finished 5 under, seven shots better than Southern California.
