Montana Orthopedics made a donation in the amount of $25,000 to Montana Tech’s Digger Turf project. The donation was made by the physicians of Montana Orthopedics, which includes Dr. Nicholas Blavatsky, Dr. Charles Buehler, Dr. Nick DiGiovine, Dr. Michael Gallagher and Dr. Anthony Russo.
“I want to thank Montana Orthopedics for their support of Montana Tech and our student-athletes, who are First Choice,” said Joe McClafferty, vice chancellor of development and university relations and president of the Montana Tech Foundation. “They are truly a community partner and we are thankful for their continued support.”
“Montana Orthopedics is pleased to donate to the Digger Turf project on the campus of Montana Tech,” Dr. DiGiovine said. “We are helping the entire community with this donation and are supporting Coach Bob Green, who has changed football in Montana.”
The community is encouraged to attend Montana Tech’s community-wide Oredigger Family Picnic on Aug. 3. Tours of the Bob Green Field will be given by Green himself. The picnic will run from 11 am to 4 p.m. with food, fun and games.
