The Orediggers (1-3, 1-3) look face a tough test when the No. 25 Argonauts come to town for the Frontier Conference game at the HPER Complex.

The Orediggers are coming off back-to-back losses from Carroll College — two weeks apart. Senior Mollie Peoples averages 15.3 points per game to lead three Orediggers averaging in double figures scoring. Tavia Roone adds 11.8 points and 8.0 rebounds, while Brooke Heggie adds 10.0 points. Senior Mesa Williams is scoring 9.0 points per game.

The Orediggers look to stay red hot when they take on the No. 14 Argos in the nightcap.

Tech closed 2020 with wins over Montana Western and Carroll College on the last two nights of the year. Senior Sindu Diallo scored 35 points at Western before returning home to play defensive stopper as the Orediggers beat the Saints.

Both wins came with Oredigger senior Taylor England on the sideline in a walking boot. The Helena native averaged 21.3 points and 11.7 rebounds through his first three games. Diallo is averaging 18.4.

The game will be the opener for the Argos and Zaccheus Darko-Kelly, the Frontier Conference Preseason Player of the Year. The Argos went 24-8 last season, including 11-7 in conference play.
