The Butte High Bulldogs appeared to have turned their season around at the right time.

Fresh off Thursday’s doubleheader sweep of Bozeman, the Bulldogs begin a busy week Monday by hosting Great Falls Russell in an Eastern AA doubleheader at Stodden Park.

The Bulldogs (3-11 overall, 1-7 conference) saw McCaul McCarthy throw a no-hitter and Taylor Huff homer twice in Thursday’s sweep of the Hawks at Bozeman. They’ll need big-time performances this week as well. Butte High will play at conference twin bill at Great Falls High on Thursday before closing the regular season Thursday at home against Missoula Big Sky.
