The Butte Miners picked up their first two wins of the season Saturday, and both of them came in dramatic fashion.

Butte came from behind twice to sweep past the Glacier Twins 9-7 and 11-10 in a non-conference doubleheader on Miners Field at 3 Legends Stadium.

The Miners scored three runs in the sixth inning for the win in the opener. They walked it off with an RBI single by Coyt Stajcar in the nightcap.

The two wins came after Butte lost its first seven games of the season. Two of those losses came to the Twins in Whitefish two weeks ago.

Glacier will stay in town for an 11 a.m. game against the Miners on Sunday. Butte will then play host to Belgrade in a non-conference game at 4 p.m.
