The Butte Miners have picked up right where they left off a season ago, they have rattled off six straight to begin the new year and show no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
Butte started things off with a route of the Medicine Hat Knights with an 8-0 victory enroute to a 28-point outing in 3 games this weekend, as they rolled past the Glendive Blue Devils 10-3, and finished off the Havre Northstars 11-4 to end an impressive weekend.
The Miners will head into conference play this week welcoming Dillon and GVO to 3 Legends Stadium this week.
