HAMILTON — The Butte Miners got in the win column for the first time this season on Saturday.
Butte swept a non-conference doubleheader with the Bitterroot Red Sox, winning 10-3 and 13-6.
The Miners outhit the Red Sox 24-15 in the two games. That includes seven extra-base hits for the Butte boys.
Butte (2-4) will play its first home games Sunday, taking on the Missoula Mavericks A in a 1 p.m. double dip at 3 Legends Stadium.

The Miners pounded 11 hits to back up Ethan “Easy” Cunningham’s solid effort on the bump.
Cunningham struck out eight batters in seven innings of work for the win. Eric Hart went 3 for 4 with three RBIs to lead the Butte attack. Egan Lester and Sean Ossello each poked a pair of singles, while Quinn Cox hit a double.
Kenley Leary and Aidan Lee added hits in the win.
Taylor Need doubled, and Aaron Springer, Bridger Huxtable and Tyler Jones each hit two singles to lead the Red Sox.

Leary and Cayde Stajcar each drove in three runs to lead the Miners in Game 2.
Butte smoked six extra-base hits, including the first career American Legion home run for the 14-year-old Stajcar.
Stajcar and Leary also joined Lester and Cox with doubles. Leary hit a triple.
Leary, Lester, Stajcar, Cox, Anthony Knott and Kevin Donaldson each had two hits in the game. Eyston Lakala struck out five batters in six and a third innings for the win.
Rye Doherty got the last two outs.
Tim Hickey doubled, and Jackson Hundley hit two singles to lead Bitterroot.
