The American Legion baseball season openers for the Butte Miners and Butte Muckers scheduled for Sunday have been postponed by rain.

The Class AA Miners were scheduled to play a non-conference road doubleheader against the Bitterroot Bucs. The Class A Muckers had a nine-inning conference game scheduled in Livingston.

Makeup dates for the games have not been announced.

Next up for the Miners is a May 7 home twin bill against the Helena Senators. The Muckers will host the Anaconda A’s Saturday in a conference doubleheader at Copper Mountain Park.
