HELENA — The Butte Miners dropped a pair of games against Class AA competition Sunday.
Butte fell 11-1 to the Helena Senators before the Bozeman Bucks topped the Miners 15-2
The losses drop the Miners to 0-4 in non-conference play over the weekend. The Miners will begin Southern A play Wednesday when they welcome Gallatin Valley to 3 Legends Stadium for a 6:30 p.m. twin bill.
Senators 11, Miners 1
Matt Krieger tripled and drove in four runs, while Ethan Keintz went 3 for 4 with a double to lead the Senators, who poked 10 hits in the win.
Cy Miller struck out six and walked four in four and two thirds innings to get the win.
Egan Lester, Kian O’Neill, Ryan Burt and Evan Starr singled for the Miners. Kenley Leary, Aidan Lee, Ryan Wahl and Star all drew walks.

Bucks 15, Miners 2 Boxscore
Alton Gyselman went 3 for 5 with a triple, double and four RBIs to lead the Bucks to the victory. Preston Flieham tripled, and Logan Pailthorpe went 3 for 3.
Rhett Hayes pitched five innings, striking out four and walking three, for the win.
Eric Hart and Wahl singled for Butte. Lee and Reece Cox each drew a pair of walks. Ryan Burt walked once.
