Just a week after the Butte Junior League hosted and wrapped up a State Championship in stunning fashion against Laurel, there are some smaller footsteps looking to do big things in similar fashion.
The Mile High 9/10U team sets to embark on that same journey as they host State this weekend. Mile High is a combined 5-1 since pool play began and has gotten better every week.
Their only loss is to MT Sentinel out of Missoula of which Butte just got the best of in Districts to capture that ever elusive 1 seed. The team has worked hard both players and coaches and are ready to see their hard work unfold this weekend as they try and bring home a State Championship.
Butte will play the winner of Big Sky and Beaverhead at 6pm tonight at Father Sheehan Park at the Mile High Little League Complex, come down and watch some ball and support these great young boys! Go Butte!
