The community will have an opportunity to meet members of the 2012 Class AA State champion Butte High football team. The Butte Plaza Mall will be hosting “Bulldog Night” on Wednesday, Nov. 28 between 6 and 8 p.m.
First, members of the championship team will make the rounds at local elementary schools on Wednesday. Members of the Butte High football team will be in every school, with the exception of Kennedy School, for assemblies at 1:30 p.m. Monday. Players will hold an assembly at Kennedy at 8:30 a.m.
Butte High football players and coaches will be at the Butte Plaza Mall to greet the general public to thank the community for all its support during the championship season. In addition, team members will be signing autographs.
During the event, through the cooperation of KBOW Radio and Optimum Cable, orders will be taken for DVD sales of the 2012 championship game between Butte High and Bozeman. The Bulldogs won the game 38-36.
Proceeds from the sale of DVDs will be given to the Butte High athletics.
