The Butte Trap Club hosted its annual city shoot on Wednesday night. Mike McLaughlin bested Al Peterson in a shoot-off for the City title with a score of 98×100 targets.
McLaughlin broke 24×25 targets of the overtime targets to win his crown over Peterson and the field of 35 shooters.
Rich Long won the Class AA title with a 97×100 while Ray Brandl won the Class A trophy. The junior shooters fared well at the shoot as Brandon Lyons smashed the last 75 targets and ended up with a 97×100 mark to win the class B division.
Another junior shooter, Greyson Mandi,c claimed the Class C trophy with a 94×100 score and Kohlten Fultz, the third junior to win a division on the evening, won the Class D trophy with a 94×100 mark.
John Helfrich won the New Shooter category with a 91×100 mark.Peterson wound up with the Class A League category.
Mark Moline won the League A trophy by breaking 94×100 targets.
