LIVINGSTON — Butte Central continued its hot streak on the volleyball court Tuesday night.
Danee Leary tallied 14 kills, 25 digs and two blocks to lead the way as the Maroons went on the road and swept Livingston 25-12, 28-26, 25-20 in a non-conference match.
Mariah Cooney added nine kills and five and a half blocks in the win, which was BC’s fourth straight in non-tournament play.
BC coach Kaila Minehan called it a “great team win.”
“Our kids played relaxed and got the job done,” Minehan said.
Sadie Harrington added eight kills, while Annie Ossello killed six and Teresa Piazzola killed four.
Shannon McLaughlin (21 assists) and Taylor Marthaller (17) set the table for the BC offense along with libero Danika Neumann.
“We got great serve receive and passing from Danika Neumann, big blocks from Mariah Cooney and big hits from Annie Ossello and Sadie Harrington,” Minehan said.
Marthaller (15), Neumann (14) and Cassidy McGree (11) reached double digits in digs.
Courtney Njardvick’s nine kills paced the Rangers.
BC is back in action next Tuesday when they celebrate Senior Night against Stevensville.
