LIVINGSTON — Butte Central survived a quick turnaround Saturday.
Less than 24 hours after knocking off archrival Dillon, the Maroons went on the road to edge Livingston in a 57-56 non-conference battle.
The win lifts the Maroons to 8-0 heading into Tuesday’s home game against Anaconda.
Livingston and Butte Central combined to hit 19 shots from 3-point land in the game. Central’s defense, though, would not allow a Livingston shot in the final seconds of the game.







Braden Harrington hit three 3-pointers to score 18 points for the Maroons, who trailed 40-37 heading into the fourth quarter.
Cade Holter scored 11 points, while Luke Heaphy and Dylan Sestrich each tossed in eight. Gunnar Yelenich scored six points for BC, which also got four from Jared Simkins and Aaron Richards and three points from Trevor Neumann.
Braden Johnson scored 18 points to lead the Rangers. Mcleod Versland hit four 3-pointers and scored 12 points.
