Maroons seek to dam Beavers in final home game of season this Friday

Butte Central (1-6, 0-2) vs Dillon Beavers 6-0.

Butte Central is coming off an energetic and exciting win last week at Bobcat stadium as they defeated Park 21-14 in an exciting game, capturing their first win of the season.

Jack Keeley stepped up in more ways than one as he threw for a score, rushed for a score and picked Park off to seal the victory for his team. He had some assistance from cornerback Coy Campbell who had a pick 6 for Butte Central.

They now welcome the hottest team in the Class A to town in the Dillon Beavers, who just knocked off the previously unbeaten Hamilton Broncs 35-7 last week.

Dillon senior QB Kee Christeansen has been playing lights out all year. He’s completed 60 of 103 passes for 988 yards, 15 touchdowns and just 2 interceptions, he also has an astonishing 122.1 quarterback rating for the undefeated Beavers.

The Maroons look to ride that wave of momentum and use it as a spark to stifle a red hot team. Butte Sports will be covering the game and a story will follow.
