Reopelle also tallied 19 digs and 12 assists in the win. Sophia Burtoon (14), Emma Keeley (10) and Strizic (10) joined Reopelle in double figures in digs. Anderson dug nine.
Keeley handed out 17 assists, while Burton and Anderson each served three of BC’s 12 aces. Bolton, Strizic and Reopelle served two apiece.
“I felt we made some great digs and started putting up a strong block,” Hancock said. “They had some strong middle hitters, and we had to make some adjustments after dropping the second game. But the girls responded to those adjustments to get it done. At a time we could of got flustered we rose to the occasion. I’m proud of how we played today.”
The Maroons improved to 6-1 overall and 4-1 in conference. BC has only one match next week, a Thursday non-conference tilt with the Copperheads in Anaconda.
