The first “super divisional” will take place at the Fairmont Hot Springs Golf Course.

Butte Central will play host to the Western A Divisional golf tournament Saturday. Play begins at 10 a.m.

The tournament includes teams from the Southwestern A and Northwestern A conferences. Host Butte Central will compete against Dillon, Hamilton, Stevensville, Columbia Falls, Frenchtown, Polson and Whitefish.

Tyge Yelenich leads Butte Central’s boys into the tournament. The sophomore’s stellar season includes wins at the Park Invitational and Belgrade Invitational.

Sophomore Cameron Johnson and seniors Bryan Arnold, Sam Joyce and Tyler Kump will also play for the BC boys.

On the girls’ side, Butte Central only has Tricia Joyce playing. Joyce, though, is a special player.

The freshman won three tournaments early in the season. Late in the season, Joyce showed she can also go elbow-to-elbow with Class
