The Butte Central wrestling coaching staff is offering preseason mini camps. The high-intensity camps are for experienced wrestlers from grades 4 through 12.
The goal of the camp is to put wrestlers in a winning environment, teach them solid technique and prepare them for the quality tournaments that take in neighboring states in November.
This is a great chance for high school wrestlers to get a warm-up before the high school season. Wrestlers will learn great wrestling skills whether they plan on preseason competition or not.
Mini-camp dates are Oct. 25, 29 and 30, and Nov. 1, 6, 7, 8, 12, 13 and 14. Cost is $10 per week and the wrestler must have a USAW card, which can be obtained by joining the Butte Wrestling Club.
Practices will be at the Maroon Activities Center wrestling room from 6:30 to 8:15 p.m.
