The Butte Central Volleyball team went 3-1 in Hamilton at the Southwest/Northwest A Tip Off tournament.  The only loss came on set point differential in a split match with Polson with BC taking the first game 25-20 and Polson taking the second game 14-25.

The Maroons defeated Browning 25-21, 25-23,  Ronan 25-18, 25-24 and Whitefish 25-15, 25-21.

Coach Becky Hancock was happy with the play of her girls “We had some great matches, & tough play today. In running a couple different rotations, the girls were able to adapt, & adjust… which is nice to see in having options. We have a ways to go, but I am liking what I am seeing.”

Maycee Anderson was a force at Libero digging up 32 of the opponents attempted kills,  Ella Moodry added 17 digs to the Maroon defense.  Lucy Kelly led the team with four blocks, Brooke Badovinac added 3 stuffs for the Maroons.

On Offense the Maroons were led by Badovinac in the kill column with 23, Ella Moodry put down 17.  Mia Keeley was on point  for the Maroons with 9 Ace Serves.

Saturdays play is a seeded tournament based on pool play results.
