The Maroons finished 2nd in their pool at the Southwestern/Northwestern Tip off tournament in Hamilton.  That put them in the game for 3rd in the seeded tournament.

The Maroons faced off with Columbia Falls and won the first game 25-16 and dropped the second 20-25 but won the match by score differential.  The Maroons took on Libby and picked up the win 25-17, 25-14. Finishing the tournament with 10 wins against 2 loses.

Coach Hancock was proud of her squads effort on the weekend. “I felt we got off to a slow start, but eventually got some fire under us, & started playing. We had to adjust the rotation going into the seeded match a little, & the girls handled that well. That’s again nice to see that we are able to adapt to change, & still be able to stay grounded to play our game. I am proud of how the girls played this weekend. They played hard both days, & that’s all you can ask for.”
