The Butte Central Education Foundation will have an induction ceremony into the “Maroon Legends” on Thursday, July 14 at the Maroon Activity Center.
The Maroon Legends program honors alumni and friends of Butte Central Catholic Schools for their dedication and contributions to the success of our school system. These benefactors have contributed to Butte Central Catholic Schools and the youth of Butte for decades.
The induction ceremony will honor the following Maroon Legends: Dr. Ed Dolan, Bob Dolan, Joe McBride, John Rickman, Dr. Loralee Davenport, and Peg Sarsfield.
“It is a great honor for the Butte Central Catholic School system to recognize and thank these benefactors and their families for their unwavering dedication and contributions to Butte Central,” said Butte Central Schools President Don Peoples. “Butte Central is very proud of our alumni, and we are excited to gather to celebrate these individuals.”
The award ceremony will take place at 6 p.m. and is open to the public and all are welcome. There will be a dinner hosted by the Butte Ryder Cup group following the ceremony. The dinner will be catered by Lydia’s Supper Club, and for those wishing to attend the dinner, you can make reservations by calling the Butte Central Education Foundation at (406) 723-6706.
