The Orediggers lost their first round-game at Morningside in Sioux City, Iowa, but the season has to be consider a successful step forward for second-year head coach Chuck Morrell. The season saw the Orediggers beat the Carroll College for the first time in eight years. They also won a pair of double-overtime thrillers.
