Locals break 1 hour at Bloomsday

SPOKANE — A  handful of Butte area runners finished the annual Bloomsday race in less than an hour Sunday.

Nichole Hunt of Warm Springs finished the 12-kilometer (7.46 miles) race in 46 minutes, 48 seconds. Ozzie Rosenleaf finished in 47:50.

Butte runners Bill McLaughlin, Kimberly Hueftle, Randy Farrow and Jim Keenan also broke the 1-hour mark. So did Kevin Kovacich and Scott Galle of Anaconda.
