Andrew Booth’s grand slam propelled Photostars to a 17-10 win over Gillman’s. Blake Baughman drilled a pair of triples while John Vandekop anchored the defense for the “Stars”. For Gillman’s Elijah Osmun put the ball in play every at-bat, Taryn Powers pitched three strong innings and Tucker LeProwse ripped a 3-run triple in the loss.

Mother Nature was the only winner as rain washed out the game between two teams at the top of the little league standings. The old fashioned pitchers duel between TJ’s Kooper Klobucar and Royses’ duo of Nick Hennessey and Peyton Hettick was halted after five innings. Ryan Burt drove in the only run for the taco joint while Rylan Richards scored the only run for the hamburger dive. Gabe Lucero’s defense in center field for TJ’s cut down the potential winning run at the plate.

Max Demarais hurled three strong innings, Jace Stenson smashed a single and Quinn Boyle played well in the field for Stenson PT. Lisac’s was led by Bryan Holland’s pitching, the bat of Bode Jensen and the glove of Tucker Fullton.

Casey Merrifield laced a 2-run triple for Stenson who also got hits from Cael Stenson and Colton Sunderland. Coke received hits from Christian Hansen (2) and Jeff Staton, Blake Drakos earned the “W” for his squad.
