Minor Baseball
Red Zone 6, Thriftway 0

Red Zone’s Riley Gelling hit a three-run double.  Ethan Cunningham pitched two solid innings with six strikeouts.  Grady Quilici also pitched two innings and had six strikeouts.  Jack Prigge pitched great in relief.  Kolbe Lammi pitched a no-hit inning for Thriftway.  Jack Berger played an excellent inning as catcher.

Montana Orthopedics 10, Toyota of Butte 1
Atrus Thompson started Montana Ortho off with their first hit.  He then scored on a hit by Zane Dunn.  Eli Rand pitched well in relief and added two hits.  Jackson Franks was a “beast” behind the plate.  Max Kluck hit a rocket to center for Toyota.  Will Silk, Tyler Duffy, and Cave Peterson all pitched well, combining for 11 strikeouts.  Gary Rubusch played great at catcher.

Minor Softball
Sylvan Learning Center 10, Granite Mountain Bank 8

Bryn Godbout, Mia Keeley, and Gracie Vincent all had hits for Sylvan, while Genevive Gasser and Dacelyn LaFond both made great plays in the field.  Kamryn Kingston, Allie Russell, and Kierra Case played well and had hits for Granite Mountain Bank.  All game Mullanie McElroy, Aunika LeProwse, Kamryn LeProwse, and Allie Stajcar played well in the field.

Major 9/10 Softball
Papa Murphy’s 18, Planet Beach 5

Aubree Corcoran pitched great for Papa Murphy’s.  Dylan Duffy had a good hit.  Madison Sanders, Kyree King, and Annie Coyne all played great defense.  For Planet Beach, MacKenzie Tutty played tough defense and hit the ball well.  Taylor Karey played great defense as well.  Joscelyn Cleveland did a nice job running the bases.

Major 11/12 Softball
Coke 19, Embroidery Plus 9

Dez Blunt had a great game at 3rd base for Embroidery Plus, and Breezy Ossello caught well.  Both Emma Cox and Brynlee Nielsen had RBIs for Coke, Cox with a triple and Nielsen with a single.  Cassidy Strizic pitched two great innings, and Josie Klapan was solid behind the plate.

Rainbow Photo 11, Universal Athletic 5
Rainbow Photo credited Kassy Spencer with a nice hit, and Jenna Walker made it around the bases on a bunt.  Hallie Blakely hit a double for Universal, and Bailey Hall had a heads-up catch in center field.

Coke 2, Rainbow Photo 1
Pitching was the name of the game in the battle between Rainbow Photo and Coke.  Kaidy McClafferty pitched complete game one-hitter with 12 strikeouts.  Rainbow Photo’s Savannah Fleming went 2 for 2 with a homerun.  Jenna Walker was a “rock” behind the plate and hit the ball hard.  Kennedi Ferriter also pitched a complete game with 13 strikeouts.  Josie Klapan made some game-saving plays at 2nd base.  Emma Cox called a great game behind the plate, and Erin Fogarty had the game winning hit.

Rainbow Photo 12, Embroidery Plus 1
Kaidy McClafferty pitched a great game for Rainbow.  Erin Hennley and Savanna Fleming both hit the ball hard.  The Embroidery Plus team had excellent fielding.

Universal Athletic Service 11, Embroidery Plus 1
Makayla Doherty pitched a great game for Universal with 13 strikeouts.  Emily Vincent had a great catch.  Taylor Huff hit a single and had a good game behind the plate.  Zoe Doherty and Kaelyn Doherty were recognized for outstanding defense.  Desarey Blunt hit a home run for Embroidery Plus.  Faith Kelly played a great game at catcher, and Taylor Schultz hustled on defense.

Major 9/10 Softball
Papa Murphy’s 15, Pit Printers 5

Mia Antonioli had a single for Papa Murphy’s, and Kyree King and Rita Buffa were credited with great defense.  McCaul McCarthy had eight strikeouts and gave up no hits.  Aubree Corcoran contributed three strikeouts.  Pit Printers had a single by Emma Quist, and Rylinn Mullaney and Kennedy Lean also played well in the field.  Bradie Lester and Kennedy Hepola both pitched great.

Major 11/12 Baseball
Lisac’s Tire 3, Coke 13

Lisac’s Tire pitcher, Dan McCloskey, pitched well with four strikeouts.  Seth Gardner and Bryce Forsman played good defense.  Aidan Petritz and Cade Wyatt hit well, Petritz with a single and homerun and Wyatt with a single.  On the Coke side, Cole Walker pitched four strong innings and had two hits.  Kaven Noctor added a double and a triple, and Coby Notctor hit a double.  A.J. Whitewolf played great defense and contributed two hits to the effort.

Taco Johns 7, Gilman Construction 8
Tucker Winston and Ryan Burt had two hits apiece.  Dawson Klobucar added a triple, Mayce Grant a double, and Dale Reynolds a single for Taco Johns.  On the Gilman side, Banner Cetraro and Zach Merrifield each hit two singles, and Kasey Krzan added a single as well.  Kale McCarthy and Dylan Sestrich were credited with solid pitching, and Sestrich added a single and double.

Major 9/10 Baseball
Butte Copper Company 25, Hanging-5 14

Cody Kuenzel, Bode Jensen and Tanner Huff all hit the ball well for Butte Copper Company.  Brady Anderson pitched great.  Hanging 5’s Gavin Vetter, Ethan Edwards and Cameron Gurnsey all had singles.  Edwards also pitched well.

Montana Broom & Brush 8, Yates Body Shop 6
Riley Chiotti pitched well for Broom & Brush and hit a single and double.  Carson Barry and Tanner Compton-Peterson added runs.  Barry stroked a double, and Compton-Peterson hit a single.  Jacob Hill also added a single to the effort.  Ian Williams and Elijah Osmond hustled on defense for Yates.  Cole Stewart went 2 for 2, Lance Wyatt went 1 for 1, and Braydon Cetraro scored two runs.

Hanging-5 14, Montana Broom & Brush 11
Hanging-5’s Christian Vetter pitched four solid innings and had eight strikeouts.  Brady Maloughney had three singles, and Anthony Liva had a great night behind the plate.  Dylan Snyder pitched well for Broom & Brush.  Eric Loos batted well, and Luke Anderson caught five solid innings.

Summit Beverage 17, Pepsi 4
Pepsi’s Eric Schultz and Jim Kinsey were recognized for base running speed, Kinsey with three stolen bases.  Kyler Raiha hit a triple and a single, and Brady Shannon had a “glove made of glue.”  Drew Humphries, Jake Humphries, Blake Drakos, Wolfgang Doty-Basel, and Dean Shannon were all credited with great hitting performances for Summit.

Junior Baseball
Newland & Co 16, Aware 9

Newland’s offense was led with doubles by Liam Sommers and Cameron Cupp.  Brian McGeehan had a solid 3 for 5 night.  Trey Grant added a great performance behind the plate.  For Aware, Kolten Fultz was 3 for 4 and solid on defense.  Gabe Tierney was 3 for 4.  Saxon Walton hit the ball well and made a great play in the field.  Kody Keane was credited with an inside the park homerun.

Aware 13, Newland & Co 6
Conner Stanish and Colter Stillwagon added great offense with a triple for Stanish and inside the park homerun for Stillwagon.  Ryan Moodry pitched well.  Austin Gerry had a 3 for 4 performance for Newland.  Trey Grant, Jacob Semsak, and Noah McGee all went 2 for 3.  Patrick Harrington was credited for great defense.
